1965 - As a kid growing up in the sixties in Central Florida Glenn always wanted to play music and like many other areas during that time there were new bands cropping up everywhere. Glenn and a few friends formed their first band, THE RUMORS, and just like many other bands at the time, they were going to be the next Beatles.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Through 1966 - 1969, THE RUMORS had faded into history and Glenn Coleman had become a member of STATE OF MIND, a five piece band that performed a mix of popular tracks of the time and their own original songs and they released a single on Tener Records that had limited local success in Central Florida. The group parted ways in 1968 and in late 1969, Glenn helped form ORANGE WEDGE - a group cut in the cloth of the Psychedelic genre. Just as the band was making some headway, Glenn had his musical aspirations temporarily interrupted by a two-year tour in the U.S.Army.

1971 - After departing the militaryGlenn returned to Central Florida to try and resume his musical career, however by 1972, the gigs had dried up and he went back into military service and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.

1972 - 1976 : The Air Force provided the opportunity to visit the homeland of many of Glenn's earlier idols, England. While in England, he formed his own band, MEDUSA, who performed and recorded original songs based on the emergence of Glenn Coleman as a writer-composer in addition to his skills as a guitarist and singer. It was during this period that Glenn met Bernie Townsend, who would become a longtime friend from when they played together in Country-Rock band STAMPEDE through to their present day collaborations.

In late 1977 Glenn once again departed the US military and returned home to Central Florida. During the early 80’s, he played in several bands and most notably a group called TAVA, of whom a lot was expected given their skills as musicians and their catalogue of self-penned songs - Bernie Townsend recalled seeing them at a college gig in Sanford, Florida and concluded it was only a matter of time before they would break through with a major US record deal but sadly after a lengthy pursuit of that goal and a list of tours throughout the South the band dissolved in 1985 without reaching their commercial potential.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1986 - 2001 : Disillusioned from the breakup of TAVA, Glenn took a break from writing and performing during the last half of the 80’s. Then, in the early 90's Glenn started to pick up his songwriting and spent the rest of the decade honing his skills in this area of his musical career along with establishing a recording studio project which today is technologically at the high end of the market.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2002 - 2015 : Glenn moved to Dallas, Texas in 2002 and shortly thereafter formed a band that played the many venues in the Dallas Metro area and over a gradual period his style of guitar and slide guitar playing began to get noticed along with his bluesy after hours vocals and finely crafted self penned songs - it was on February 9th 2014 that Glenn Coleman obtained his first record contract by signing to UK label Gravel Road Records & Music. A 5 song EP "Too Far Gone" was released by the label in mid-2014 on worldwide download and on the back of the success of the lead track which received critical acclaim from radio and media alike a new EP "Delta Mae" by Glenn Coleman is due for release on 6th February 2016 and will be followed by an album release later in the year.

2016 - Glenn Coleman released his debut album "Relentless" on Gravel Road Records & Music label in November 2016 to worldwide download and then in CD format in Summer 2017

Glenn Coleman also has a Summer 2017 release to US radio for "Too Far Gone-Remix" which has been lifted from his new album "Relentless"
